To all relevant units:

The DC Transmission and Power Electronics Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering has experienced ten extraordinary years since it was founded in 2011. Led by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and with the support from all industry colleagues, the Committee has played an important role in promoting the development of China's DC transmission and power electronics fields. In order to review the development process of the Committee in the past ten years, show the major achievements in the field of DC transmission and power electronics, discuss the realization path of "carbon peaking, carbon neutrality" and "New power system centered at new energies", the "2021 (10th) Academic Annual Conference of DC Transmission and Power Electronics Committee and the 10th Anniversary of the founding of the Committee" will be held in Beijing during October 27-30, 2021, and hosted by Tsinghua University. We are now collecting publicity materials and original works for the 10th anniversary celebration from all experts, scholars, scientific researchers, engineers and technicians, teachers and students of universities in the industry.

I. Collection time: from now until August 31, 2021.

II. Publicity materials

(1) Content: a. Related photos, videos or other materials showing the establishment and development of the committee, as well as academic activities; b. Related pictures, photos, videos or other materials reflecting the progress and achievements of DC transmission and power electronics technology, especially related photos, videos or other materials of power electronic components, DC equipment and DC projects taken on site; c. Related photos, videos or other materials showing the spirit of workers engaged in DC transmission and power electronics technology; d. Blessings and messages to the Committee (in any form, text, video, and poems are acceptable); e. Other valuable materials.

(2) Requirement: a. Images and photos should be high-definition original images with text descriptions; b. The video quality is clear, and the duration is 30-300s.

III. Original works

(1) Content: a. "My story about DC Transmission/Power Electronics" (mainly in text content, can be attached with high-definition photos); b. Original works reflecting the theory and technology development of DC transmission and power electronics; c. Original works reflecting the spirit of workers engaged in DC and power electronics; d. Original works reflecting the blessings and messages to the Committee.

(2) Requirement: a. The form of works is not limited, and photos, short videos, calligraphy works, painting works, poems, articles and music, etc. are all acceptable. b. The works must be original, with clear themes, appealing, and artistic imagination. c. Each short video is 30s-300s, which can be originally shot or edited.

IV. Submission method: a. Materials and works should be sent as electronic files to the email: dc.thu@vip.163.com; b. email subject: 10th anniversary + material (work) name + author name + author's place of work; c. Indicate the name, place of work, phone number, detailed address, email address and other information of the person who provided the material.

V. Related matters: 1. The selected materials and original works will be used for the production of commemorative videos, commemorative albums, etc., displayed in the celebration activities and not be used for commercial purposes; 2. The providers of selected materials and excellent original works will be used rewarded in the celebration.
