Dr. Shen Wang obtained from the department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University Bachelor’s degree in 2002, master’s degree in 2004, and Ph.D.’s degree in 2008. Dr. Wang then worked as a post-doc at the department of Precision Instrument of Tsinghua University till 2010, and later began his work as a research assistant at the department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University till 2018, and then as an associate professor till now. He also visited University of Bristol, UK, as an academic visitor from February to October 2016. His main research interests include electromagnetic–ultrasonic testing, virtual instrumentation and signal processing. Dr. Wang was in charge of two projects from the National Natural Science Foundation (one normal project and one for Young Scholars), one National key scientific instrument and equipment development project (subproject), one National Key Research and Development Program (subproject), and one project supported by the Doctoral Fund of Ministry of Education of China (new teachers). He also participates in many research and development projects including the National key scientific instrument and equipment development project, the National Natural Science Foundation projects, and 863 projects. Dr. Wang is also a member of Chinese society of nondestructive testing, ultrasonic Committee. Dr. Wang has authored and co-authored more than 80 papers. He also won the 1st prize of Teaching Achievement Award of Tsinghua University, in 2014, as the 3rd contributor.
