In July 2021, after deliberation and approval by the Labour Union of Tsinghua University, the working group of Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics was awarded the title of "2020 Outstanding Labour Union Group of Tsinghua University"; Wang Peng, Liu Yan, Wang Fuping and Duan Yanmei were honored "2020 Outstanding Labour Union Members of Tsinghua University". In addition, Xing Guangjun, Liu Yingyan, Sun Yandong, Cui Aifang, Dong Zhenling, Liu Wenwu, Chen Yongting, Li Zhen, Luo Jiao, and Qi Shuo were honored "2020 Outstanding Department Labour Union Members of Tsinghua University"
